Unexpected laundry room challenge

The friendly staff and spacious twin room was so great. Convenient access to public transport.

The laundry facilities were frustratingly inadequate. With only two washing machines and dryers, we struggled to get our laundry done late at night, which left us dissatisfied.

Hip new hotel in a fairly quiet area short walk to the public transport, and the river. Functional twin room with 2 king single bed, the bathroom, space for suitecase.

Excellent location in the town, walking distance to tourist attractions.

Just spent 6 nights in a clean, comfy twin room. Love the location near the bus stop and train station. Wi-Fi was spotty, annoying, but overall, great value for the price!

All good, fulfills its purpose. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The staff had great attention to detail, making requests easy to handle.

They gave an a twin room with blow dryer, modern facilities, shower as we booked. The location was particularly good, around 10-15 minutes walk from a historic marketplace.

Hotel was exceptionally clean, really helpful and attentive staff.

Nice place to visit in Kyoto, if compared to other hotels. Excellent location, we were walking distance to a castle and a main street. A cool bonus was Veggie Cafe, located nearby, it offered tea and coffee...

I stayed in a Twin Room for 10 nights and it was super comfy! The layout was really well thought out, and that shower? Amazing. Even though the hotel was on a busy intersection, we had no trouble sleeping on the eighth floor. The walls were soundproof, a big plus. Plus, we loved that it was close to tons of dining options!

The rooms were super clean and came fully equipped with everything we needed. Our kids had a blast using the digital programming available for entertainment. Plus, the fact that our dog was welcome.

My wife says that the laundry facilities could use more machines.

Onefive kyoto shijo had a great location, just a short walk from bus and subway stops. The queen room was clean, comfortable, and the amenities were a nice touch, especially the humidifier which helped combat the dry air from the ac. The staff was great.

The location of Onefive Kyoto Shijo made getting around Kyoto easy. It's right in front of a subway line and bus stop. The twin room was spacious, perfect for our needs, and the shower had amazing pressure. Despite being near a busy intersection, I slept soundly on the eighth floor without any disturbance. The room had a cozy vibe. I appreciated that the hotel offered an electric kettle for making hot drinks. The lack of a smart TV was a letdown. Had to use my mobile phone for entertainment. The bathroom could have used some heating since it felt cold . Even the room temperature was chilly at times.
